Coedwig’s Plum Kinda Wonderful

From the moment I first laid eyes on her when I picked her up from the airport in Atlanta, following her long journey to me from Coedwig Cardigans in Portland Oregon, this little darling stole my heart. Her name says it all as she is “some kinda wonderful” indeed. She quickly became my “Principessa Plum”, and she is all girly-girl.
Her face, her unique true sable color, and oh my her lovely front piece. Plum owns a stop you in your tracks beauty that cannot be denied. In fact, often when Plum and I are shows, we will be stopped more than once, while making our way from the grooming area to the ring, by spectators and exhibitors of other breeds who offer me exclamations on her gorgeous sable color and beautifully expressive face, which of course makes me ever so proud to be her human.
Plum has an unquenchable zest for life. She is adorable, lovable, comical, and a cuddler, who loves nothing anymore than a good belly rub. They told me red girls were a challenge and so she is but she is also extremely intelligent and does fully understand when she is doing things right, which makes her quite proud of herself, and she will always look me deep in the eye to let me know it.
Plum started her show career by winning the Beginner Puppy class her first time out, with a Group 3 from that match as well. With limited showing she has points toward finishing including one Major from a nice supported entry show. She won Best in Puppy Sweeps and BOS Puppy Sweeps at two other, very well attended, supported entry shows. Plum is returning to the show ring in 2016 after taking a time out to have her first litter. She free whelped seven gorgeous puppies, within a few short hours, on May 31st, 2015, and was a stellar mother to them in every way.
